Done as practice for the hanged man, which makes it one of my very first gouache paintings. I don't really do faces very well, but I've been watching HamRib on youtube who is fantastic at them so naturally I forgot about it and did this. I think it turned out pretty well, and has generally improved my face-doing abilities.
