Also perhaps I've finally figured out how flash fiction works? Perhaps the trick was not to try to write flash fiction, and instead just try to finish a story as quickly as possible.
The first story is about the Asrai, green haired lake-dwellers who live off moonlight. Their touch is wet, but burns. The second and third story are both about Cutty Soames, who helps with mine work, but has a tendency to cut the ropes of carts to bring the whole mine to a halt if slighted.
